Calypso Technology Extends Its Remit With Cognito

April 2010 - Calypso, an application software provider of an integrated trading, risk and processing platform to financial institutions and corporate treasuries, has hired Cognito to manage its public relations in Japan.

Calypso first appointed Cognito in 2005 to manage its media strategy across Europe. Cognito now delivers media relations on a global level across Europe, the US, Asia-Pacific and Japan.

The Cognito team is led by managing director Rod de St Croix and supported by Adam Honeysett-Watts, account manager and Charlie Morrow, account executive. Additional teams in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo deliver on-the-ground support.

Cognito has worked closely with Calypso as the firm continues its global expansion, now with 13 offices around the world. By working with one global agency, Calypso has benefited from a centralized and holistic communications strategy with seamless delivery across all regions.
