Cognito London would like to invite you to Cognito's first Breakfast Byte of the new year, taking place on Thursday 24th January to discuss the prospects for communications in financial services in 2013.

Andy Berry, Regional Head of Communications, Europe, HSBC

Rob McIvor, Communications Director, London First, the business membership organisation for London. Previous senior communications roles include AFME, Barclays, Citicorp, FSA.

Paul Wilson, CMO of SunGard 1999-2012. Won B2B Marketing's 'Best International Campaign' in 2011 and 2012.

Moderator: Andrew Marshall, Cognito EMEA MD

The Economist's World in 2013 recently parodied the dissonant expectations the industry faces from shareholders, creditors, customers, regulators and the public. Against this backdrop, we'll be discussing:

How will finance services companies market their services and differentiate themselves, in this climate of exceptional regulatory pressure and stakeholder scrutiny?

How can service providers to the financial services industry make their case compelling, at a time of retrenchment and technological upheaval?

What are the marketing channels to watch, given both continuing transformation in mainstream and trade media, and the growing but tentative role of social media in wholesale FS communications?

Diary details:

Date: Thursday 24th January

Time: 8am for 8.30am start, finishing by 9.30am
