Cognito appoints Samantha Hannaford and Katie Kinnear to enhance marketing, digital and social media offering in London
Cognito, the specialist communications and marketing agency for the financial services industry, has continued the expansion of its London office with the appointment of Samantha Hannaford as Account Manager, Marketing Services and Katie Kinnear as Social Media Manager.
Sam joins Cognito as an integral part of the growing marketing services team, reporting to Verity Ramsden-Hare, Senior Manager, Marketing Services. Sam’s appointment coincides with a number of significant client wins for marketing services in London. In her previous role Sam was responsible for a wide range of PR, marketing and communications strategies for leading global accounting and advisory network RSM International. Prior to this Sam worked at a boutique consultancy specialising in corporate risk and insurance.

Katie will be deeply involved in the development of Cognito’s digital and social media offering, reporting to Vivienne Hsu, Global Director of Digital and Social Media. Katie’s experience in account management spans PR and social media, having started her career at Clareville Communications before moving to The Social Partners to work as a strategy and insight executive. Here she honed her skills in social media strategic planning, community management, monitoring and analytics. Katie has previously worked for clients including HSBC, Allianz, Brother and Dairy Crest.
