Cognito Media is an international communications agency with offices in London, New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, Amsterdam, Paris, and Düsseldorf. We advise and support companies in the finance, consulting, and technology sectors with their strategic communications, acting as a liaison between subject matter experts and journalists. Our clients are demanding, the topics complex, and that’s precisely what makes the work so exciting. We are currently seeking interns for our Düsseldorf office who would like to gain insight into the work of a PR consultant.
Responsibilities
You will actively support our team in day-to-day operations and gain insights into agency communications from the very beginning:
- PR support: Assisting with the creation of press releases, pitches, technical texts, and statements
- Media monitoring & research: Monitoring topics, trends, and competitors, as well as preparing relevant information for client briefings
- Social media: Supporting the conception and creation of content for LinkedIn – from the initial idea to the finished post
- Editorial planning: Maintaining and developing editorial plans in close coordination with project managers
- Client relations: Participating in internal coordination meetings and, in the future, also in client meetings
- Reporting: Supporting the creation of analyses and performance reports
About You
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of communication studies, journalism, economics, media studies, humanities, or a comparable field of study
- Proven necessity of a mandatory internship (internship agreement through university required)
- Interest in business topics, especially in the areas of finance, consulting, and technology
- Very Excellent written communication skills in German and very good English skills are required.
- Structured, independent work style and enjoyment of teamwork
