Cognito appointed as Communications Partner by Transition Finance Market Review Secretariat

October 11, 2024

Cognito, a leading global communications agency specialising in finance, technology and the climate transition, is proud to announce its selection as the communications partner for the UK’s highly anticipated Transition Finance Market Review (TFMR).

Commissioned by the UK government as part of its 2023 Green Finance Strategy, the TFMR aims to assess how the UK can leverage its existing strengths to become the best place in the world to scale global transition finance markets: the investment, capital and financial products which allow companies to implement credible transitions.

Cognito will lead the communications strategy for the launch of the review’s findings in Q4 2024, ensuring these reach key stakeholders across industry and government and result in the necessary policy and financing activity to drive the climate transition. With extensive experience in financial services and sustainability communications, Cognito will work closely with the review’s leadership team and expert group to raise awareness, engage with the media, and foster industry dialogue around this important initiative.

Charlie Morrow, Director and Global Head of Sustainability Communications at Cognito, said: “We are honoured to be chosen as the communications partner for such a pivotal initiative driven out of the UK. Our expertise in financial communications, combined with our focus on sustainability and sustainable finance, will enable us to drive meaningful conversations – and action – that will advance credible transitions for businesses in the UK and internationally.”
