Cognito has hired Sebastian Mathews as Managing Director for EMEA, based in London. 

An experienced manager, Sebastian has a proven track record in driving operational activities and advising senior executives. He will be responsible for the development of Cognito’s business in EMEA.

Cognito has also promoted Yvonne Maher to Deputy Managing Director, who will work closely with Sebastian on building the EMEA strategy Celebrating her third year at Cognito, Yvonne has won and grown several significant global accounts for the business.

Sebastian brings over 15 years marketing and communications experience across a range of sectors.  He joins from Sage, the FTSE 100 company, where he was interim Director for Corporate Comms. This follows previous roles at Kaspersky as head of EU Communications and TomTom where he was director for Group Communications in Amsterdam. Prior to that he has over a decade’s experience on the agency side most recently with FTI Consulting as a Senior Director, where he spent eight years, advising tech-driven clients across a range of industries. He started his career at Burson-Marsteller advising some of Europe’s largest technology companies.
