Floor Dortu

Floor Dortu is Event Manager at Cognito Amsterdam, where she runs B2B events across financial services, including Fund Seminar, the Foreign Bankers Association and VV&A (the Association of Asset Managers and Advisors). She handles events end-to-end and brings a sharp eye for content and digital strategy, shaping how each event is positioned and communicated before, during and after the day itself.

Floor first joined Cognito as an intern while completing her degree in Entrepreneurship & Retail Management, going on to coordinate the Fund Seminar and Foreign Bankers Association events. She later spent time at events agency Puur, covering the full range of the job — from writing proposals to running events on-site — before returning to Cognito in her current permanent role.
