Annemieke leads the PR team at Cognito Amsterdam, combining strategic and creative direction across a portfolio of national and international clients.
She brings more than 20 years of senior communications experience, with previous clients spanning global brands including Unilever, Shell, Heineken, ING, Nike and Starbucks.
Prior to Cognito, Annemieke was director of corporate communications and external engagement at VodafoneZiggo, where she led strategic communications, media relations, reputation management and ESG positioning. Before that, she held roles as director of global public affairs and CSR at AkzoNobel and general manager of Edelman Netherlands, where she grew the agency into one of the leading PR firms in the country, named Benelux Agency of the Year by the Holmes Report.
