London, 13 August 2025 – Cognito, the independent global communications agency specialising in finance, technology and the climate transition, has appointed Brian Norris as Managing Director of its UK business.
Brian starts immediately and will report to Cognito founder and CEO Tom Coombes. He brings a wealth of financial services and leadership experience and expertise to his new role. He joins from MHP Group, where he launched and built the agency’s successful offering for the insurance and risk sector. Prior to this, Brian led H/Advisers Cicero’s corporate communications practice, where he oversaw the rapid growth of the division. He began his career at Haggie Partners.
As UK Managing Director he will lead the London team, support Cognito’s expanding global client base and build on its offering across its core sectors. He will also help shape growth strategy in adjacent and emerging markets, capitalising on the firm’s expanding international network, which now spans eight countries across four continents.
